The music for “Reframed” was composed following talks about the concept and location with the director of the video, Stefanie Weber. The dance video visualises a young woman’s path towards finding herself despite doubts and external voices trying to tear her down. This struggle is mirrored in the lyrics. The instrumentation was deliberately created to reference the more classical elements present in the visual, as well as a transformation towards a more modern sound to showcase the main character breaking out of societal norms and forging her own path. After the music was completed, a choreographer and dancer worked with the director to make the directorial vision come to life.
